Hearsay Lovin is Easy at Number 6
Well done to hearsay for getting to this position in the chart after nearly 10 months abscent. It is great to see the guys back in action and we hope there next single due to be out in around 6 weeks as said by Myleene Klass on Newsround Webchat. She also said she is trying to get the video shot in Cuba. We love you Hearsay.

Hearsay In Gun Attack

POP stars Hear'Say fled for their lives when a thug menaced them with a gun.

The chart-topping fivesome feared he was going to open fire. They dived into their tour van and sped off down a busy motorway.

But the lunatic gave chase and followed them for about 30 MILES. A band source claimed he even took a potshot at them with the awesome-looking gun.

The source added: They were absolutely terrified and really thought this man was out to kill them.

The bands ordeal began at an M1 service station near Leicester after they had been performing in Leeds. Petrifying Myleene Klass, Suzanne Shaw, Noel Sullivan, Danny Foster and Johnny Shentall were picnicking in the sun when the nutter confronted them.

The source said: "The man clearly knew who they were and started waving the gun at them. They were terrified and piled into a vehicle driven by tour manager Graham Quinn.

"But the gunman jumped into a second car and gave chase. At least one shot was fired during the chase. It was petrifying."

Sick joke ... Greg told of drama
The terrified pop stars rang 999 and cops called in a helicopter and armed officers. But last night the man driving the gunman claimed the gun was NOT real it was a widely available £2.99 weapon for firing ballbearings.

Greg Du-feu, 19, said: One of the lads was leaning out of the window pretending to point the gun at them.

It was only meant as a joke but it must have been frightening.

The police are taking it very seriously. I can understand it because the band wouldn't have realised we only playing and never meant them any harm.

Greg was giving four pals a lift in his red M-Reg Ford Escort when they spotted Hear'Say having a snack at an outdoor picnic table.

He said a 17-year-old friend who was sitting in the front passenger seat had just bought the weapon at a discount store in Northampton.

Drama ... M1 service area near Leicester
Trainee computer technician Greg, from Wellingborough, Northants, told The Sun last night: "It was big gun about 18 inches long. We'd been skateboarding and were on our way home.

"My pal was proud of his gun and he'd been firing it all over the place.

"Then we spotted the band you couldn't miss them.

"The next thing, he winds down the window and starts pointing it at them and they just scattered. It went on for a few seconds. He was pointing the gun at them and laughing. It was all a pretence. We were laughing because we knew it wasn't a real gun."

But Greg insisted NO ballbearings had been shot at the band. He said: He didn't have any left so he couldn't fire at them but they might have thought he did.

Realistic ... £2.99 ballbearing gun
They poured back into their big van with blacked out windows and we were in a chase for about 30 miles.

At one point they were alongside and someone wound a window down and threw a plastic bottle at my car.

Then we lost them in the heavy traffic. The police arrested my mate and took him away.

They questioned him and kept him there all night. They've let him out on bail but he's very shaken.

Greg added: I can understand the band's reaction people like them get all sorts of threats and hate mail.

It was a stupid thing to do and I'd like to say sorry. It was a joke that went too far.

A Hear'Say spokesman said the band shrugged off their fear and went on stage to entertain fans in Dudley, West Midlands, only hours after the gun drama.

He added: They were incredibly shaken by the incident and the girls in particular were very distressed.

Cops confirmed they are investigating an incident at Leicester Forest East services on Sunday.

Hear'Say win an Ivor Novello Award

Hear'Say have won the Ivor Novello award for best selling UK single award for Pure and Simple today. The awards took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London's Park Lane.

Hearsay were amongst the many stars to take part in the soccer six tormament in aid of Help A London Child at Stamford Bridge on 27/5/02. I went along to see Hearsay in action. Johnny and Suzanne were there flying the Hearsay flag, but Noel, Danny and Myleene didnt appear to be there despite that Myleenes name did appear in the programme.

Johnny was in a team called 'The Blue Brothers', as his team-mates were Lee, Ant and Simon from Blue and all the 3SL boys. The boys played some good footy and managed to reach the semi-final stage by penalties, where Johnny scored a vital kick, he didnt look to keen on taking it though, ut the boy did good. He was in my opinion there star player and he wore the number 8 shirt. The team were defeated by Ant and Decs team.

Suzanne played in a team called 6 in the city. Her team included former steps star Lisa Scott-Lee, Johnny's girlfriend. the two made a great partnership scored a few goals, the girls were cheered on by jhnny on the side-lined who looked overjoyed when Lisa scored. The girls did exceptionally well reaching the final of the girls competition. Suzanne sported the number 4 shirt. They were defeated by the mis-teeq girls who were also fab.

The pair didnt sign autographs, but were really friendly to the crowd, and spotted the banner which I took to cheer them on. I would like to thank them for such a great day.

Hearsay visit Drayton Manor

Hearsay opened the new Maelstrom ride at Drayton Manor Park on Wednesday 17th April. They were greeted there by many fans, including myself. It was a great day out, and I also managed to go on to rides with Hearsay. We went on the Maelstrom, and shockwave, well Suzi chickened out of going on Shockwave! I also managed to grab the groups autographs, it was an exciting day for everyone who attended and we all hope to see Hearsay back on the screens soon.
Hearsay also said that they plan to release their new single Lovin is Easy, on July 8th. The video is also being made this week, so they are very busy bees! The new single is expected to be slightly different from the one that was originally heard on Hearsay a new chapter.
